Ways to change your bridal look throughout your day…

Here at The Boho Bride, I love the idea of versatile wedding day looks, that can be changed throughout your day, with interchangeable aspects to your bridal outfit. Which is why our collection includes all sorts of added extras and not just dresses!

The simplest and most traditional way to accessorise your wedding day look is with a veil. Our wide range of veils allows you to add some extra detail to your wedding day look that gives it that modern bohemian touch and can be added and removed easily throughout your day.

Maybe you want to wear your veil for the ceremony but then change it up for a bridal bow later in the day, allowing you ease of movement on the dance floor without getting tangled up in your train of tulle. The bridal bow is set to be a key trend of 2022 and theres no simpler way than adding one of our bridal bows to your hair to replace your veil.

Next up: bridal crop tops!

I love how easily a little bridal crop can change your wedding outfit, you may decide to wear it for the ceremony to cover your shoulders and create a more modest look and take it off to reveal your dress for the reception. Or perhaps you plan to add the crop top in the evening to add that modern touch later in your day. We’ve got various bridal crop tops and capes in the collection and would be more than happy to discuss bespoke options too! (Check out our etsy shop or bridal wear collection tab for more details.)

Oooor, overlay dresses and skirts!

Wether your base bridal outfit is a two piece or a dress you can add and remove an overlay dress or skirt to change your look part way through your day. Maybe you’re having an outdoor or beach ceremony, our Florrie lace overlay dress would work so beautifully for this, bringing relaxed bohemian vibes to your look. And to create a smarter, more formal look in the evening for a drinks reception you could remove the overlay dress to reveal a more figure hugging silhouette in our Aria gown.

And finally: bridal capes…

A little newer to the bridal-wear world, capes can be so versatile. The majority of our veil or dress fabrics can be made into capes and our recent addition to the collection, Sienna, is a gorgeous feather and sequin tulle cape that be made to a custom length. The sample photos show a short cape, that is the perfect addition in the evening of your wedding for a little added sparkle and to cover those shoulders in a cooler evening.

But you could have a dramatic cathedral length cape made to create a gorgeous train that can easily be removed for different aspects of your day.

The options are endless and thats what I’m aiming to continually create with the collection at The Boho Bride, an inter-changeable, adaptable wedding day look that combines bohemian style with modern simplicity for your wedding day. If you'e got more ideas about how we could adapt and change your wedding day look then get in touch, I LOVE discussing bespoke ideas and working alongside you to create your perfect look for your special day.

Keep your eyes peeled for next months real bride blog featuring a bespoke design…
