Real bride - Bethany

Bethany is my beautiful sister, and not long after her engagement she recruited me as her bridesmaid and dress maker! She came to me with a mood board of ideas and sketches and we designed her dress together, playing with ideas and fabrics until we fell into the final design. Her dress was totally her, and something she felt completely comfortable in which is so important on your wedding day.

The lace that we found and chose was a sequin vine leaf and is now a firm favourite among brides, with its subtle, elegant sparkle. We used this same lace to create a bespoke veil, with the vines lining the hem, allowing the additional detail to be added without taking away from the statement back design of the dress.

I fell in love with Beths design so much that there is a piece in the 2024 collection very much inspired by her dress, which I may just have to name ‘Bethany.’
