Real bride - Ellie

Ellie found me on instagram and got in touch originally to order our Florrie and Aria dresses, for her wedding day. Together we decided on a few adaptations to the back of the original Aria design and the design was secured and fabric ordered.

A few months later, Ellie got in touch to say that she’d fallen in love with the idea of adding colour to her dress, so I got to work sourcing an alternative fabric for the Florrie overlay layer of the dress. We found the perfect fabric to represent Ellie and her plans for her wedding day and the construction of both dresses could commence.

As a long distance bride (not based in Guernsey) I sent over measurement guides and all of our conversation was via email. I also advised that Ellie had a local seamstress on hand for a few minor tweaks once her dress had arrived, to make sure the dress was perfect for her big day.

And when the photos landed in my inbox I was blown away! Ellies dress could not have been more suited to her personality and her day. The day was bursting with colour and joy, and even a little rain couldn’t dampen their spirits.

This message from the bride made my day: ‘Kezia!!! Thank you so much - I was singing your praises all day, the dress was the total star of the show!!’

And she later left me the kindest review too: ‘Kezia at The Boho Bride was just incredible!!! She and I worked together to pick one of her gorgeous dresses but, months later, when I came to realise that my dream dress was only something that existed inside my head, she and I worked to make it come to life. We sent inspiration and sketches back and forth and she sourced some gorgeous fabrics for me. She totally held my hand through the entire process and I felt reassured and comfortable the entire time. Cannot recommend her highly enough!!!’
