A boho city chic wedding - Jessica
When I received Jessicas gorgeous wedding photos, captured by Ashley Maxwell Photogaphy I was lost for words… They are so so stunning and show off our frill veil to perfection for her ‘boho city chic wedding’. Jessica wore a stunning Tara La Tour gown and our chapel length frill veil for her September wedding in Chicago.
When asked if there was anything she was worried about in the lead up to her wedding day, Jessica said, ‘There wasn't much I was worried about to be honest! I was so excited all I could do is think about how much fun we were going to have.’ And what better advice could there be for brides - to- be, just be excited, its going to be the best day of your life, whether it goes ‘to plan’ or not!!
Jessicas favourite part of her day was that they ‘did a 'first touch' instead of first look. We stood on a corner of the building so we could not see each other but we held hands and exchanged vows. It was so emotional and provided a build up of excitement to finally see each other down the aisle.’ Which I think is such a perfect idea to allow you, as the couple, to take a moment together to cherish forever before the busyness of the rest of your day. Advice I hear often is to take time throughout the day for just the two of you to pin point certain moments in your day in an attempt to pause and enjoy each special moment before it goes by in a flash. And what a perfect way to start your special day with a ‘first touch’.
